Our Commitment to Transparency

Zenith is striving to create a career college system rooted in accountability to students. We are committed to communicating in a transparent and timely manner about information that matters most to students, regulators and others, including: the total cost of our programs, enrollment requirements, student completion and placement rates, instructor qualifications, ethics standards and accreditation and regulatory compliance. In this section of our website, we have centralized our disclosures in one easy-to-access location, and have also made them available on individual campus websites. If you have questions regarding these disclosures please contact ethics@ecmc.org.

Zenith progress reports

In the spirit of transparency, we have provided continued updates on Zenith’s progress, and most recently published our second report on March 16, 2016. Since launching in February 2015, our primary focus has been to improve student outcomes. A few areas where we have made particularly substantial progress include improving affordability, implementing a thoughtful and robust curriculum reform effort, and creating student-centered admissions.

Our job is far from done, but we remain committed to promoting the long-term success of our graduates and to transforming our schools into a new nonprofit model for the career college space that offers quality education and support services, and the skills and training students need to get jobs in their fields when they graduate. We look forward to providing continued updates on our progress in the future.

Accreditation change

In an effort to streamline the accreditation process, we are transitioning our schools to be accredited by one organization—the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Under the current Zenith structure, our schools are accredited by ACCSC and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).

This transition, currently in process and to be fully completed by March 2017, will create efficiencies and provide a greater opportunity for compliance by having one set of accrediting standards governing our schools.

We look forward to continuing to work with ACCSC, which is focused on schools with short-term and diploma programs, and the best match for our current programs and future program development efforts.

Please direct any media inquiries about the change to Laura Telander Graf at 651-325-3695.
